Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 23, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Aura AI, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

2. License to Use

Aura AI grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Aura AI application and its supported engine and IDE plugins (Unity, Godot 4, Unreal Engine, VS Code, Visual Studio 2022, JetBrains Rider) for personal or professional game development, subject to your subscription tier.

3. Prompt Quotas

Usage is limited by the credits assigned to your subscription tier. The Free plan includes 100 one-time trial credits that do not reset monthly. Paid plan credits reset each billing cycle. Refill Pack credits are non-expiring and are consumed after plan credits. BYOK plans use your connected provider key and do not consume Aura credits while BYOK is active.

Attempting to bypass quotas, abuse the service, or interfere with credit accounting is grounds for suspension or termination.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of your project files, prompts, GDDs, code, assets, and game intellectual property. Aura AI does not claim ownership of your game or the outputs generated for your game.

5. Limitation of Liability

Aura AI is provided "as is". We are not responsible for any bugs, data loss, or game project corruption resulting from the use of AI-generated code.

6. Billing and Cancellation

Paid subscriptions and refill purchases are processed by Stripe. You can manage plans, update payment details, or cancel from Dashboard → Billing. Canceling a paid plan may downgrade the account to Free; one-time Free credits are not granted again if they were already claimed.

If a recurring payment fails, is unpaid, or requires cardholder confirmation, Aura may block generation immediately until payment is completed. This includes hosted LLM generation, paid BYOK generation, and paid team generation. You can still sign in, access billing, and download the installer while payment is being resolved.

7. Local Project Memory and Transfers

Aura stores chats, GDDs, pages, progress memory, rules, and project context locally on the machine where Aura is used. Those local records do not automatically transfer to another computer. You can export selected Aura project memory from the app and import it on another machine, but you are responsible for moving your own game project files separately.

8. Platform Availability

The Windows installer is available now. macOS installer support is coming soon. Supported editor and engine plugins may vary by platform and installed software.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of new terms.
