Start a new Unreal project with Aura
Choose an installed Unreal editor, review the game plan, and let Aura create the approved project directly in Unreal.
Use this guide with Aura
Open Aura, then keep this guide beside it while you follow the steps. Aura does not receive the page text, your account, your project, or anything you typed.
If nothing opens, start Aura normally. The written steps still work.
Before you start
- Aura AI is installed and signed in.
- A supported Unreal editor is already installed.
- The target is a C++ project; Blueprint-only projects need a C++ class before the plugin can compile.
Plan and model funding
The model work uses the funding source shown in Aura. Compiling or opening Unreal does not spend Aura Balance.
Say this in ordinary language
Create a new Unreal game where I collect energy orbs and reach an exit to win. Let me review the game plan and every project change before you create it.
Steps
-
1
With no project selected, send the prompt above in chat.
What you should see: Aura opens Choose where to build with an installed Unreal editor selected.
-
2
Choose the Unreal version you want and select Continue to game plan.
What you should see: Aura states that it uses the installed editor and does not download or bundle Unreal.
-
3
Review the game plan, first-playable scope, art plan, and displayed funding source, then confirm it.
What you should see: Aura saves a transparent internal design record and prepares the exact Unreal editor, project location, and files.
-
4
Review and approve the exact project actions.
What you should see: No Unreal project is changed before this separate approval.
-
5
Let Unreal open the project.
What you should see: Aura waits for the exact project and plugin connection.
-
6
If prompted, rebuild Unreal and choose Continue after rebuild.
What you should see: Aura prepares the post-rebuild attachments for review.
-
7
Run the game and choose Verify the game in Unreal.
What you should see: Aura confirms the goal worked in the running Unreal game and keeps a screenshot of the result.
What Aura may change
Aura creates or opens a local Unreal C++ project and applies only the plugin, code, and scene changes you approve.
How to verify it worked
Run the actual game in Unreal and complete the objective.
Undo or recover
Cancel any approval stage or use the offered rollback for applied changes.
Common problems
- If Unreal asks for a rebuild, complete it before Aura adds its project components.
- A Blueprint-only project must add a C++ class first.
