Use this guide with Aura

Open Aura, then keep this guide beside it while you follow the steps. Aura does not receive the page text, your account, your project, or anything you typed.

Open Aura

If nothing opens, start Aura normally. The written steps still work.

Before you start

  • Open the correct local project.
  • Use rules for lasting preferences, not passwords, payment details, or private keys.

Plan and model funding

Saving or reading local rules and progress does not by itself use model funding. A chat request that uses them follows the funding source shown in Aura.

Say this in ordinary language

For this project, always keep player movement responsive and ask before changing the input scheme. Remember that the next task is the pause menu.

Steps

  1. 1
Tell Aura the lasting rule and the next planned task in ordinary language.

What you should see: Aura confirms the project-specific instruction instead of applying it to every game.

  2. 2
Open Settings and review Project rules and Progress memory for the selected project.

What you should see: Aura identifies which local project owns each saved item.

  3. 3
Close Aura, reopen the same project, and read the Welcome back card.

What you should see: Aura shows a bounded summary and a suggested next step from recorded project work.

  4. 4
Ask what rule applies before requesting a change.

What you should see: Aura repeats the relevant saved rule without inventing work that was never recorded.

What Aura may change

Aura stores project-specific rules and progress notes locally by default. It does not claim perfect memory of activity it never recorded.

How to verify it worked

Restart Aura and confirm the same project shows the expected rule and next step while another project does not.

Undo or recover

Edit or remove the saved rule, or choose Archive & start fresh on the Welcome back card; the card offers an immediate restore.

Common problems

  • If the wrong project is active, switch projects before saving a rule.
  • Do not store secrets in project rules or progress notes.
